Kalaiah is our precious daughter who we adopted on September 19, 2000. In April, 2004 she became sick and we took
her to the doctors thinking it was a stomach virus. About 10 weeks later, on June 18th, she was diagnosed with a very
rare type of cancer, NK Lymphoma. In August, she was diagnosed with a second companion disease, HLH.
Finally, after months in the hospital and several rounds of chemo, she started fighting a 3rd problem: Aspirgillas
fungus in her lungs.
Kalaiah went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 29, 2004 at 10:50 a.m.. She was truly a beautiful gift from
God and we were honored to have her as a part of our lives. She will be truly missed.
